SEDGWICK—Fred F. Anderson, 63, Drisco LLC truck driver, died November 15, 2016 at Wichita, KS.
He was born March 24, 1953 at Farmington, MO to William J. and Rena M. (Hammond) Anderson, Jr.
He was formerly a Salina resident prior to moving to Sedgwick in the last year.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. During his tour he was a P.O.W. and escaped his captors.
On June 24, 2006 he married Opal L. Ogden at Salina, KS. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include son: Sam Anderson, Sedgwick, KS; step-son: David Brindle, Salina, KS; sister: Florene Wampler, Farmington, MO and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Anderson.
Graveside service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, KS with Pastor Craig Reynolds officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Anderson Family Fund at Legacy Bank, c/o Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, KS.
