Wilbert H. "Toby" Goering, 92,
died Oct. 26, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. He was born Sept. 25, 1920, at
Moundridge to Henry A. and Lydia B. Stucky Goering. He was a farmer. He married
Erma M. Gaeddert on May 4, 1945, at Inman. She died Oct. 5, 1980. He married
Erma L. Garber on July 27, 1985, at Newton. He is survived by his wife, Erma L.
Goering, Moundridge; son, Larry D. (Carol) Goering, Moundridge; daughters,
Janice (Merlyn) Johnson, Greeley, Colo., Sharon (Duane) Regehr, Hesston, and
Barb Goering (Joe Smucker) Newton; brothers, Howard Goering, Newton, and Vernon
Goering, Moundridge; sisters, Lorita Regier, Burrton, and Joy Thiessen,
Moundridge; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will
be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Eden Mennonite Church. Visitation will be Monday
from 4 until 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 until 8 p.m., at the
Moundridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial
donations are suggested to Eden Mennonite Church or Pine Village, both in care
of the funeral home.
