HILLSBORO - Donald A. Klassen, 84, died Sept. 18, 2012. He was born Oct. 30, 1927, son of Abram and Elizabeth Janzen Klassen. 
He married Lenora Friesen June 24, 1948. She survives with sons, Marlo, Myron and Sheldon; daughters, Marlene McKitrick, Sharon Boese and Sandra Esch; brothers, Harold and Loyal; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro. Burial 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Alexanderwhol Cemetery, rural Goessel. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Memorials to Mennonite Central Committee.
