Judith Carole Schroeder Tomlomson
WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Judith Carole Schroeder Tomlonson, 58, died Wednesday (Dec. 3, 1997) at her home.
She was born May 27, 1939, in Newton to Herb and Bertha Goertz Schroeder. Her mother survives of Goessel. She married James E. Tomlonson in 1961 and divorced in 1989.
She was a 1957 graduate of Walton High School and attended Bethel College and Central Missouri State University and also participated in Mennonite Voluntary Service.
She had lived in Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, McPherson, Minnesota and in Warrensburg, Mo., since 1982. She had been a secretary, decorator, quilter, quilt workshop leader, author and an information specialist at Central Missouri State University.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Jana Bond of Centerview, Mo., and Jill Tomlonson of the home, one son, Jeremy Tomlonson of Warrensburg; one sister, Mary Jones of Newton; and five grandchildren. She was prededed in death by her father; and one brother, Herb Jr.
She donated her body to Kansas University Medical Center.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Beginnings Church of the Brethren, 802 E. Hale Lake Rd., Warrensburg, MO. 64093.
