Woodrow Francis Wilson
ELLSWORTH -- Woodrow Francis Wilson, 81, Santa Fe engineer, died Tuesday (May 6, 1997) at Good Samaritan Retirement Center.
He was born April 17, 1916, in Cowley County to Cecil C. and Abbie Kinney Wilson. He married Nina Brill on May 12, 1938, in Arkansas City. She survives.
He was a member of the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church of Ellsworth. He was a fraternal organization of the Eagles Lodge and United Transportation Union, both of Newton. He lived in Arkansas City until 1941, Newton until 1976, Kanopolis Lake until 1993 and resided in Ellsworth since 1993.
Other survivors include two sons, Steven Ray Wilson of St. Louis, Mo., and James Robert Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Frank W. Wilson of Leavenworth; three granddaughters; and one grandson.
Memorial services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church with the Rev. Tom Keith officiating. He will be cremated.
