Victoria Ruth "Vicki" Friesen, 68, died Friday (Dec. 16, 2016) at St. Francis in Wichita. She was born Sept. 26, 1948, in Newton, to Dale and Betty (Benbrook) Koehn. She was married to Ken Friesen and he survives of the home. Vicki worked as a Medical Aide at the Newton Presbyterian Manor in Newton for 33 years. She attended First Church of God in Newton and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles. Vicki enjoyed learning Facebook and re-connecting with her friends and family online. She also enjoyed spending time with her many loving friends.

She is survived by her husband Ken of Newton; son Art and his wife Mona of Newton; grandchildren, Cory and his wife Abby Friesen, Kyle Javier and his wife Krystina, Alisha Bence, Codi Hinderliter and Erika Javier; brothers, David Koehn of Wichita, Cecil Koehn of Newton and sister Peggy Eason of Newton. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 20, 2016) at First Church of God at Broadway and Fairview in Newton, with Pastor Clint McBroom presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday (Dec. 19, 2016) at Petersen Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory in Newton.
