Obituary: Carol R. Bowyer

Carol R. Bowyer, 73, homemaker, died on Saturday (Aug. 18, 2012) at Newton Medical Center in Newton. She was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in Erie to Herman and Sylvia (Fisher) Hull. She attended Bentley United Methodist Church, and she was a member of the Bentley Senior Citizens. On Sept. 1, 1957, she married Alvin B. Bowyer in Erie. He died on July 21, 2006. Survivors include a son, Jeff (Tammy) Bowyer of Ottawa; daughter, Twyla (Jim) Middleton of Peabody; brothers, Don Hull of Erie and Darrell Hull of Wichita; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Hull. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 30, 2012) at Bentley United Methodist Church in Bentley, with Pastors Paul Stephens and Bill Eichelberger officiating. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bentley. Memorials may be given to Bentley United Methodist Church or Bentley Senior Citizens, in care of Kaufman Funeral Home of Halstead.
