Michael Dennis Record, 51, died on Aug. 22, 2012, Via
Christi St. Francis of Wichita. He was born on Oct. 17, 1960, to Lon E. Record
and Shirley (Ruddick) in St. Louis. He graduated from Lindbergh High School of
St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 6, 1978, to July 1, 1982. He
served at Youth With A Mission and as a
missionary for New Jerusalem Missions in Newton from 2003 to time of death
(2012). He worked with Grant Leslie at the Donut Shack in St. Louis from 1997
to 1999. He resided in Valley Center. He is survived by an aunt, Evelyn Gass,
and cousins. A memorial will be on Oct. 20, 2012, at New Jerusalem Missions in
