Elsie J. Heslop
Elsie J. Heslop, 76, died on Wednesday (July 4, 2012) at
Newton Medical Center in Newton. She was born on Aug. 15, 1935, in Pittsburgh,
Pa., the daughter of James and Delila Allshouse Heslop. She was a nurse's aide
and lived most of her life in Newton and Halstead, living the last four years
in Hesston. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Survivors
include her stepmother, Dorothy June Koehn of Buhler; one brother, Franklin Heslop of Hutchinson; and five
sisters, Susan Hughes of Goddard, Frances Heim of Hutchinson, Loretta Trower of
Hutchinson, Nancy Trower of Newton and Elizabeth Keazer of Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Spangler.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family present
from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday (today) at Buhler Mortuary.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buhler
Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Buhler Cemetery.
