Sherilyn Denise Neufeld
NEWTON — Sherilyn Denise Klassen Neufeld, 59, passed away on
Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at her home in Hesston.
She was born on July 1, 1952, in Goessel to Perry and
Clareen Duerksen Klassen. Her brother was Timothy Klassen. They preceded her in
death.
She was a member of Koerner Heights Church in Newton, where
she served on various committees and was a member of several Bible studies. She
was the deputy and city clerk for North Newton for 19 years and was a member of
the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
Survivors are her husband, John of Hesston, and son, Austin
“AJ” of North Newton. She had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will
miss her dearly.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family present
from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (June 15, 2012) at Miller-Ott Funeral Home in Hesston.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday (June 17, 2012)
at Koerner Heights Church in Newton, with Timothy Mace officiating.
