Twyla L. Sell
Obituary
HALSTEAD — Twyla L. Sell, 86, life-long Bentley and Halstead
area resident, died on Friday (May 25, 2012) at Halstead Health and
Rehabilitation in Halstead.
She was born on June 13, 1925, in Patterson to John C. and
Letha M. (Imel) Pitts.
She was a homemaker and worked for Coombs Hatchery and was a
cook for Sedgwick HealthCare Center.
On Feb. 19, 1949, she married Otis J. Sell in El Dorado. He
died on June 25, 1999.
Survivors include a son, John O. Sell of Sparks, Nev.;
daughter, Christine North of Porter, Okla.; brother, Royce (Glida) Pitts of
Bedford, Texas; sister, Retta May Plough of Enid, Okla.; and five
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Melvin, Willis and
Dale Pitts.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (May 29, 2012) at
Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 30,
2012) at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bentley, with the Rev. Peter Hartman officiating.
Memorials may be given to HospiceCare of Kansas, in care of
Kaufman Funeral Home of Halstead.
