Obituary

Maxine M. Janzen, 81, passed away Friday (Feb. 10, 2017) at Newton Medical Center. She was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Solomon, the daughter of Ivan and Flossie Beck Sexton. She was a member of the Garden Community Church, Moundridge. She married Arlo Janzen on Sept. 22, 2007, in Moundridge. He survives.

Other survivors include seven stepchildren; two sisters, Delores Bergen of Newton and Janet Morrison of Moundridge; one brother, Milton Sexton of New Cambria; nine step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. at Garden Community Church Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 16, 2017) at Garden Community Church, Moundridge, with Pastor Gary Janzen officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 15, 2017) at the Moundridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to the Garden Community Church, in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge.
