Obituary
Gladys R. Ryan, 92, passed away Friday
(Feb. 17, 2017) at Newton Medical Center. She was born Oct. 19, 1924,
in Whitewater, the daughter of George and Mary (Litton) Corfman. She
was a graduate of Whitewater High School with the class of 1942.
On June 2, 1951, she was united in
marriage to Paul Ryan. She worked many years on the assembly line at
Boeing. Later she was the Whitewater city clerk and then the
Whitewater Grade School secretary.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Paul Ryan in 1971; and a brother, Clarence Corfman.
She is survived by her son, Pat Ryan
and wife Carla of Whitewater; a grandson, Scott Ryan and wife Erica
of Whitewater; two grandchildren: Peyton and Paislee; and a sister,
Wilma Vogt of El Dorado.
The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m.
Tuesday (Feb. 21, 2017) at the Federated Church in Whitewater.
Interment will be in the Whitewater Cemetery.
