Obituary
MOUNDRIDGE — Martha Holdeman, 89, died on Wednesday (April
25, 2012) at Moundridge Manor.
She was born on Aug. 12, 1922, to Abraham H. and Lavina
Becker Ratzlaff in McPherson County. She was a homemaker.
She married Wilford L. Holdeman on May 4, 1941, in Galva. He
died on Feb. 4, 2010.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth (Virginia) Holdeman, Linford
(Irene) Holdeman and Verle (Phyllis) Holdeman, all of Halstead, and Clinton
(Ruth) Holdeman of Elma, Iowa; daughters, Marlis (Ken) Barkman of Cartwright,
Manitoba, Canada, and Darlene (Weldon) Koehn of Halstead; brother, Noah
Ratzlaff of Moundridge; sisters, Elizabeth Wenger of Moundridge, Dessie Wiebe
of Iroquis, S.D., and Gloriann Wedel of Galva; 28 grandchildren; 92
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Moundridge
Funeral Home, and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Garden
View Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Halstead. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to Moundridge Manor or
Mercy Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.
