Obituary
WINFIELD — Norma Jean Warhurst, 60, died on Saturday (April
21, 2012) in Winfield.
Norma was born on July 11, 1951, in Newton to George
Warhurst Jr. and Norma Beryl (Vance) Warhust.
Norma was born mentally disabled. She lived in mental
health-care centers in Larned and Winfield throughout her life.
She is survived by her brother, George Thomas “Tom” Warhurst
III and wife, Linda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas
Warhurst Jr. and Norma Warhurst; and infant sister, Sandra Sue Warhurst.
A graveside committal service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at
Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. A memorial has been set up for Southwind Rescare,
