Dolores ‘Dee’ F. Croft

Obituary

NEWTON — Dolores “Dee” F. Croft, 79, peacefully passed away on Friday (April 20, 2012) at Newton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1932, in Paxton, Neb., the daughter of Ronald G. and Emily A. (Steffen) Langmacher. Dolores was a retired secretary, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On June 20, 1954, she married Donald E. Croft in Paxton, Neb.; he survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, David E. Croft and wife, Judy, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Dennis L. Croft and wife, Becky, of Mountainburg, Ark., Douglas Croft and wife, Cindy, of Newton; one daughter Deanna Baker and husband, Kurtis, of Peabody; two brothers Ronald W. Langmacher of Carnegie, Okla., and Robert G. Langmacher of Minco, Okla.; two sisters Nancy Dietrich of Mustang, Okla., and Cindy Cosgrove of Plano, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A public visitation will be for two days. They are from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. The second visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday with the family present from 10 a.m. to noon. Both will be at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

A memorial fund has been established with the Harvey County Senior Center in care of the funeral home. Petersen Funeral Home is In charge of arrangements. Visit Petersenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
