Obituary
NORTH NEWTON — Beverly A. Cooper, 75, died on Wednesday
(April 18, 2012), after a short battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her
loving family at Kidron Bethel Healthcare.
She was born on Nov. 27, 1936, in Los Angeles to Thomas and
Ila Juanita (Watkins) Elberson. On Feb. 5, 1959, she married Loren Thomas
Cooper in Miami, Okla., and he survives of the home. Beverly was a retired bank
teller for the Sedgwick State Bank and also was a realtor for Century 21. She
enjoyed painting and spending time with her loving family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, L. Tom Cooper of the home;
sons and their wives, Colten and Marsha Cooper of Goessel, Jason and Rhonda
Cooper of Newton, Weston and Melanie Cooper of Rochester, Mich., and Cameron
and Cheyenne Cooper of Houston; stepson, Larry and Jodie Cooper of Longmont,
Colo.; stepdaughter, Sidney Cooper of Florida; one sister, Sandre Krehbiel of
Wichita; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and
nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Petersen
Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Doug Ingmire presiding.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

Caring Hands Humane Society, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
