Evelyn Koehn Becker
Moundridge - Evelyn Koehn Becker was
born August 13, 1918 to Benjamin and Lydia Johnson Koehn at Halstead,
Kansas. She peacefully passed away at the Moundridge Manor,
Moundridge, Kansas on February 17, 2017, reaching the age of 98 years
and 6 months. She was united in marriage with Alvin Edward Becker at
Halstead, Kansas on May 23, 1937.He passed away in November of 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Floyd,
Carlyle, Maurice and Callie; two sisters Grace and Ladeen and one
great granddaughter LeAnn Becker. Those left to cherish fond memories
are daughter Jo Marie and husband Donovan Seiler, Halstead, Kansas;
sons Bruce and wife Joyce, Nevada, Missouri; Keith and wife Jackie,
Rich Hill, Missouri; daughter Iris and husband Max Boehs, Montezuma,
Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great
grandchildren; two brothers Wayne and wife Bonnie, Butler, Missouri
and Charles and wife Betty, Harrisonville, Missouri. Funeral service
will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Bethany Mennonite Church, Rich
Hill, MO with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.
Memorials may be sent to the Moundridge Manor in care of Moundridge
Funeral Home.
