Obituary
MOUNDRIDGE — Ivan C. Sexton, 99, died on Sunday (April 1,
2012) at Pine Village.
He was born on April 23, 1912, in Solomon to Burton and
Naomi (Gish) Sexton. He was a retired farmer. He married Flossie Beck on June
13, 1933, in Abilene. She died on Aug. 14, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Milton (Yvonne) Sexton of New
Cambria; daughters, Maxine (Arlo) Janzen of Hesston, Delores Bergen of Newton
and Janet (Dean) Morrison of Moundridge; sister, Thelma Longenecker of Abilene;
nine grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moundridge
Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Garden
Community Church in rural Moundridge. Burial will be in the Garden Church
Cemetery.
