Ivacolis 'Dutch' (Pyles) Nease Lewis
Obituary
NEWTON — Ivacolis “Dutch” (Pyles) Nease Lewis passed away on
Saturday (March 31, 2012) at her home in Newton.
She was born to Charles and Mary Irene (Shaw) Pyles in Bluff
City. She graduated from Bluff City High School and was a member of the
Christian Church. Dutch moved to Newton and managed and operated the Santa Fe
Cafe and Hotel.
She married Harvey Nease in July 1955. He preceded her in
death in October 1977. She married Jack Lewis in June 1981. He preceded her in
death in 1984.
Dutch is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends,
all of whom she loved very much.
Dutch also was preceded in death by her brothers, Olin
“Skeet,” Truman and Myron Pyles.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
Christian Church, 71 N State Road 14 in Anthony, with Tanner Stevenson and
Pastor John Schnelle officiating. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to service time
on Wednesday at the church. Her final resting place will be Pleasant Hill
Cemetery in Bluff City.
Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony will be in charge of
