Helen M. Fryhover
Obituary
INMAN — Helen M. Fryhover, 86, passed away on Saturday
(March 10, 2012) at the Pleasant View Home in Inman.
She was born on March 26, 1925, in Whitewater, the daughter
of Jacob and Helene Dieck. A resident of Hutchinson since 1980, she was a homemaker.
On Nov. 1, 1958, she married Oliver Fryhover, and to that marriage they had
three children.
An avid quilter, Helen also was a member of Corner Stone
Baptist Church, Hutchinson. In her later years, she was a member of the Red Hat
Society, and enjoyed bowling, bingo and garage sales.
She is survived by her three children, Betty Garcia, Steven
Fryhover and his wife, Jacque of Hutchinson, and Oliver Fryhover of Tulsa,
Okla.; eight grandchildren; two adopted grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a
sister, Elsie Hiebert of Hesston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oliver;
her brothers, Carl and Abraham Dieck; and sisters, Ann and Marguerite Dieck.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the
family present to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be
at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will
take place in Emmaus Cemetery in Whitewater.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to
Corner Stone Baptist Church of Hutchinson, and Pleasant View Home of Inman.
Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson, is in
charge of arrangements.
