Harvey Eugene Siemens, 70, retired KG&E and Western Resources Property Tax accountant and consultant of 35 years, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday (Feb. 5, 2012).

Beloved husband, father, “Papa,” son, brother, uncle and friend is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie; children, Steven (Marty) Siemens of Augusta, Russell (Carla) Siemens of Eaton, Colo., and Debra (Todd) Swift of Sedgwick; grandchildren, Lauren (Quinten) Scrivner, Valerie Siemens, Seth Siemens, David Siemens, Miranda Siemens, Madi Swift, Thad Swift and Colby Swift; mother, Elda Siemens-Jantz of Newton; brothers, Robert Siemens of Sedgwick, Dennis Siemens of Hesston; sister, Carol Hiebert of Newton; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Siemens.

Harvey served the Lord through ministry at Valley Center Calvary Baptist Church, Topeka Bible Church and Wichita Central Christian Men’s Ministry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Central Christian Church, Wichita.
