Willard E. Schmidt
MOUNDRIDGE - Willard E. Schmidt, 68,
died Thursday (Sept. 7, 2006) at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Center
in Buhler.
He was born April 30, 1938, in
Chickasha, Okla., to Norman and Rosena (Sebrandt) Schmidt.
He was a former employee of Hesston
Corp. in Hesston.
Survivors include a son, Kelvin E.
Schmidt of Assaria; two daughters, Marilyn D. Brumley and Karen K.
Christiansen, both of McPherson; two sisters, Audrey McConkey of
Gypsum and Mary Jean Koehn of Moundridge; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter,
Karla J. Lewis, and a brother, Luther Schmidt.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m.
Sunday at Moundridge Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday
at Gospel Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Moundridge, with
ministers Dale Koehn, Dale Becker and Doyle Johnson officiating.
Burial will be at Lone Tree Church Cemetery in rural Galva.
