Obituary
LOVELAND, Colo. — Naomi Darlene Androes, 74, of Loveland,
Colo., died on Saturday (Feb. 18, 2012) at her home.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1937, in Newton to Orville and
Vera (Borne) Fluke.
Naomi grew up in Valley Center, and she graduated from
Whitewater High School in Whitewater. She continued to live in Newton before
moving to Loveland, Colo., 11 years ago. She was a cashier at Ace Hardware and
loved to work. She also loved owls.
Naomi is survived by her son, Gary Androes of Loveland,
Colo.; daughters, Connie R. Gandy (Charles) of Johnstown, Colo., and Stephanie
R. Merritt (Garry) of Johnstown, Colo.; sisters, Susie Penner (Lawrence) and
Roberta Paulson (Jim), both of Newton; grandchildren, Jason and Marci Gandy,
Joshua and Jeanie Gandy, Sara Jo Garza, Todd and Jessica Williams, Steven
Merritt, and Michael and Elizabeth Merritt; as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
At Naomi’s request, cremation has been completed, and no
services will be held. Memorials may be sent to the Ovarian Cancer Research
Fund, in care of Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80538,
