Katheryn A. Preston, 86, of Newton, died on Saturday (Feb. 26, 2011) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1924, in Walton.
Survivors include her brother, Dennis Albright and his wife, Linda, of Mission; her grandchildren, William Tiede, Colleen Jackson, Venise Polite and Heather Tiede; and seven great-grandchildren.
Katheryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Preston; and son, Michael Tiede.
There will be no visitation as cremation has been affected.
Private family inurnment will be at the Walton Cemetery.
