Lucas Scott Hauck, 2, died on Saturday (April 9, 2011) in Peabody.
He was born on March 18, 2009, in Wichita to Joshua D. and Autumn N. (Frazell) Hauck. Lucas was a happy boy who liked to play with his brother and sister.
He is survived by his parents, Joshua Hauck of Peabody and Autumn Hauck of Halstead; brother, Levi Frazell; sister, Lilian Hauck; paternal grandparents, Michael and Linda Hauck of Burns; maternal grandparents, Jeff Frazell of Potwin and Stephanie Lynn Matlock of Burrton; great-grandparents, Lorene Frazell of Halstead and Kenneth Stephens of Halstead; uncles, David A. Hauck, Matthew Hauck and Jeffrey Alan Frazell; aunts, Katherine Hauck, Kylee Frazell and Tianna Frazell; great-aunts, Pat Fleming, Peggy Stain, Rose Stain and Reba Mitchell; and extended family, Vernon and Janice Demel, and Jim and Kathy Haden.
Lucas was preceded in death by great-grandparents, David W. and Patricia Hauck, and Calvin and Orpah Blackwood; grandmother, Sharon Stephens; grandfather, Gerald Frazell; and aunt, Danie Frazell.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church in Newton. Pastor Peter Ostrander will preside.
