Rose WeesnerNEWTON - Rose Weesner, 92, died April 13, 2011. She was born Jan. 7, 1919, to John E. and Mary Friesen Hiebert. She married Oscar Weesner in July of 1939. He died Oct. 6, 1997. Survivors include: son, Robert; daughter, Barbara Walker; sister, Ella Ramsay; sister-in-laws, Vera Hiebert and Laura Hiebert; and many grandchildren. Graveside services and interment 10 a.m. Saturday at the Whitewater City Cemetery. Visitation 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton. Memorials to Asbury Park and Good Shepherd Hospice.
