Michelle "Shu-Shu" Marie Madrigal died on Monday (May 9, 2011) in Newton.
She was born on June 19, 1976, to Laura Ann (Tafolla) Mosqueda and Michael Mosqueda Jr.
On Oct. 1, 1993, she married Rafael Madrigal in Green Bay, Wis.
Michelle loved her music, movies, cooking and playing board games with her family and friends. She was a very loving mother, and she enjoyed making those around her laugh. Michelle was not a selfish woman; she was a very giving person, with her family and many others.
Survivors include her husband, Rafael, of the home; two sons, Rene and Xavier Madrigal; two daughters, Isabella and Angelica Madrigal, of the home; her father, Michael (Leah Taylor) Mosqueda Jr. of Newton; four brothers, Jose Lopez of Newton, Michael (Nicole) Mosqueda III of Newton, Michael Paul Mosqueda of Wichita and Marcos (Jennifer) Mosqueda of Wichita; two sisters, Lorraine ( Manuel) Garcia of Newton and Moncia (Joe) Mosqueda of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Mosqueda.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at First Church of God in Newton. Pastor Brian Curran will preside.
