Virginia Lee (Tanner) Greenfeather, 82, of Wichita, died on Thursday (Feb. 17, 2011) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1928, in Newton, the daughter of Jesse E. and Lottie M. Geabhart Tanner. She married Kenneth Greenfeather on Jan. 3, 1951. Virginia worked in janitorial services.
Survivors include her son, James Greenfeather of Wichita, and sisters, Juanita Proulx of Ventura, Calif., and Dorothy Schmidt, Joan Bernowich and Darleen Morris, all of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Ethel Kackley, Doris Krieg, Genevieve Pierce, Bonnie Kirk, Jessie Schroeder and Judy Hartley.
There will be no services; cremation has taken place.
