Obituary

Terry was born in York, Nebraska, on Sept. 21, 1948, to Ralph and Ella Rodgers. He is survived by his wife, Julia; his daughters, Lori Layton, Penny Harris and Kyann Shelton; and his sister, Sheryal Teater. His brother Rome and his parents preceded him in death. Terry passed peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 1, 2016. Terry lived in Vancouver, Washington. He retired in 2005, which allowed him to go fishing and hunting, and enjoy his life with friends and family. He loved watching his grandkids. They were his joy.

Terry's graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday (April 29, 2017) at Eastlawn Cemetery (between Newton and Hesston), after which there will be a celebration of life at the King Shelter House in Hesston, at the corner of Lincoln Blvd. and Ridge Rd.
