HILLSBORO -- Nuna Lee Friesen Parks, 83, died Friday, July
27, 2012. She was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Newton, the daughter of Mart and Agnes
(Groening) Friesen.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Reno; and
son, Duane Schierling.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Parks Sr.; daughter-in-law,
Jill Schierling, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Jost
Funeral Home, Hillsboro. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30,
at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro. Memorials are to
Ebenfeld Church.
