Obituary
Calvin G. "Gov" Hall, 84, of Burns, slipped
peacefully into eternity on Friday (July 1, 2011) at Asbury Park in Newton.
He was born on July 18, 1926, the son of Z. Hurshel and
Maude (Fowler) Hall. After graduation from Whitewater High School, Calvin
enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He married Esta Richter on June 21, 1947. They lived in
Manning, El Dorado and Cedar Point before settling in Burns.
Calvin had farmed and worked for K.G. & E., and retired
from Texaco Refinery.
Survivors include: his dear wife, Esta of the home;
daughters, Laurie Hall of Newton and Cindy Jackson and husband Jeff of Burns;
sons, Tim Hall and wife Jan of Maple Valley, Wa., Sheldon Hall and wife Rebecca
of Wichita, and Brian Hall and wife Pam of Moundridge; 17 grandchildren; and 32
½ great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the
First United Methodist Church in Burns.

Methodist Church and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, contributions may be sent to
