Obituary
H. Jane Hiebert, 84, passed away on
Friday (June 2, 2017) at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. She was born
June 10, 1932 in Wray, Colorado, the daughter of Henry and Agnes
Braun Klassen.
She had taught school at Halstead and
then Goessel before retiring and she was active in the family farming
operation.
She was a member of the Goessel
Mennonite Church, a founding member of the Town and Country Garden
Club, Goessel, and for many years was active in the Goessel 4-H Club.
On May 25, 1957, she married Donald E.
Hiebert in Halstead. He survives. Other survivors include a son,
Keven (Debra) Hiebert and daughter, Lauren, all of Goessel; two
daughters, Natalie Hiebert of Tribune, and Marjean (Chad) Deines of
WaKeeney; two sisters, Jo Larson of Greeley, Colorado, and Katheryn
Klassen of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by a brother,
Arnie Klassen; and a sister, Lillian Seaman.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday (June 6, 2017) at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel. A funeral
service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (June 7, 2017) at Goessel
Mennonite Church, with Pastor Brad Penner officiating. Burial will be
in the Goessel Mennonite Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Town and
County Garden Club, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston.
