attended KU and Wichita State University, where he received a BA and MA. While
at WSU, he was an officer in the Psy Chi National Honor Society and the

his death.
Barry loved trying out new things, and during his life, his
many interests involved taking sailing lessons, fly fishing, skeet shooting,
playing the guitar, playing golf, reading and music. He began writing a journal
to his grandson, Alex, from the time he was 4 to his current age of 12. He was
looking forward to traveling when he retired and doing more of the things he
loved the best.
Barry had a wonderful way about him that could make any
situation seem better, and his sense of humor was a wonderful gift to all who
knew him. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He
loved his family and delighted in seeing his grandchildren grow up.
