Obituary

Willadene Hartzler Keeney, 92, died Tuesday (June 13, 2017) in North Newton.

She is survived by children Lois (Phil) Palmer, North Newton, Carol (Carlos) Keeney, Elkhart, Indiana, William "Bill" (Virginia) Keeney, Philadelphia and Richard (Mary) Keeney, Phoenix; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband, William "Bill" Keeney; her parents; two brothers; one sister; and one brother who died in infancy.

Memorials may be made out to the First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, Ohio; Mennonite Central Committee; the Raymond and Nora Hartzler Scholarship Fund at Bluffton University; or World Wildlife Federation, and sent to Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton, KS 67114. There will be no local services.
