George Michael Plummer Sr.
Obituary
George Michael Plummer Sr., 67, died on Sunday (July 24,
2011) at the Robert J. Dole Veterans Hospital in Wichita.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Louisville, Ky., to Glenn M.
and Georgia P. (Ford) Plummer. On Oct. 8, 1964, he married Anita Jaso, and she
survives of the home.
George served his country in the U.S. Army with a tour in
Vietnam and during the peacetime era from 1960 to 1965 and was honorably
discharged. Following his military service, he owned several businesses and
worked as an expert mechanic before retiring from Hay and Forage as a
supervisor. George's greatest source of pride was his beloved family, and he
was well known for never having met a stranger. In our hearts, we remember this
isn't goodbye, it's just "so long."
George is survived by his wife Anita of the home, and

his wife Nancy of Newton, Anita-Mitzi and her husband Ray of Newton, George
Michael Jr. and his wife Darlene of Phoenix, daughter Tricia and her husband
