Ruth J. McCurry

Haven – Ruth J. McCurry, 86, passed
away on June 6, 2017 at the Haven House, Haven, KS. She was born
November 7, 1930 in Hutchinson the daughter of Earl H. and Myrtle
(Hobbs) Campbell. She was a member of the Mt Hope Methodist Church.
On June 5, 1949, she married A. J. McCurry at the Centennial Church.
He passed away on January 20, 2008. She was also preceded in death by
a grandson Tyler Schlender, a sister Jean Campbell and a brother Lyle
Campbell. She is survived by her children Andy (Mary) McCurry of
Burrton, V. Ray (Rose) McCurry of Burrton, Jan (Raymond) Dixon of
McAlester, OK, Carole (Rick) Schlender of Burrton, a sister Anne
(Charles) Muse of Webster Groves, MO, 4 grandchildren, John (Melody)
McCurry, Emily (Tyson) Mullen, Curt (Whitney) Dixon, Erica Schlender,
7 great grandchildren, Aubree, Molly, and Drew McCurry, Avery and
Hallie Mullen, Addie and Cooper Dixon. Family will greet friends from
4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Ott Funeral Home, Haven, KS.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at Mt
Hope Cemetery, Mt Hope, KS with Reverend Kim Benson officiating.
