Ruby (Plett) Reimer
Obituary
Ruby (Plett) Reimer, 81, homemaker, died on Friday (Aug. 12,
2011) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1930, in Beaver County, Okla., to
George and Helena (Becker) Plett. On May 27, 1956, she married Randolph Reimer,
who survives.
Other survivors include children, Elaine and Ken Schmidt of
rural Lehigh, Don and Judy Reimer of Inman, Ed and Tracy Reimer of Park City;
10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, David.
Visitation with the family is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel. There will be a private
internment, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexanderwohl
Mennonite Church.
Memorials may be made to Mennonite Central Committee or
Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
Joyful Noise Community Child Care Center in Goessel and sent in care of
Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St. in Newton.
Petersen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
