Bill
Flory, an ex-soldier of the Civil War, 78 years and two months old, died
Thursday [August 26] and was buried Saturday afternoon [August 28] at the
Fairview Cemetery, 4 miles north of Halstead, Rev. Oliver officiating.
He came to Harvey County in 1871 and
homesteaded three miles north of town.
He leaves his wife and three children.
