Rodney C. Willoughby, 84, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Sedgwick.
He was born August 22, 1932 at Chanute, KS, to W. Claude. and Neva M. (Rice) Willoughby. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. On December 17, 1954, he married Shirley Ann McDaneld at McPherson, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Marc (Donna) Willoughby Sedgwick, KS, Todd (Laura) Willoughby, Shawnee; daughter, Lisa (Wes) McArtor, Cave Creek, AZ; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Sedgwick Christian Church with Pastors Kim Beckwith and Kevin Berry officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials may be given to Sedgwick Christian Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
