Kenneth W. Steider, 85, of Hesston died on Thursday (Sept. 15, 2011) in Hesston.

The funeral service and burial were on Monday at Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley, Neb. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.

The Kenneth Steider Memorial Scholarship has been created to recognize the many years Kenneth served in education and health care while living in Taiwan. Contributions may be given at www.Hesston.edu to support international students attending Hesston College or mailed to Hesston College, Box 3000, Hesston, KS 67062.
