Nathan Hartman
Obituary
Nathan P. Hartman, 50, died in
Carlsbad, New Mexico, on July 17, 2017. He was born on July 26, 1966,
in Columbia, Missouri, to Peter and Marilyn Hartman. He and his
family lived in Hannibal, Missouri, until age 9, when his family
moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico. He attended Carlsbad schools and
graduated from Carlsbad Senior High in 1985. Nathan moved to Kansas
in 1993 and worked at Yoder Meats in Yoder. Following his work at
Yoder Meats, he worked as a welder in Haven and Hesston. He was a
welder at AGCO in Hesston before moving to New Mexico in September
2016.
Nathan is survived by a daughter,
Breanna Trueblood, Friendswood, Texas; son, Garet Hartman (Brittany
Nicole Santos), grandson, Kai Nicholas Hartman and granddaughter
Brylann Nichole Santos, all of Austin, Texas; parents, Peter and
Marilyn Hartman of Hesston; sisters, Treva Greaser (Leon), Wichita
and Alice Jantzen (Mark) Newton; and brother, Luke Hartman (Staci),
Harrisonburg, Virginia; as well as nieces, nephews and many, many
friends and relatives.
A memorial service is planned to be
held at 11 a.m. Saturday (July 29, 2017) at Hesston Mennonite
Brethren Church, 610 W. Randall, Hesston. In lieu of flowers,
memorials in honor of Nathan's life may be sent to Hesston MB Church
