Kenneth Voth
Obituary
Kenneth Arlo Voth, 88, went to be with
the Lord July 19, 2017. He was born in Newton to William and Emma
Voth. He was a graduate of Newton High School and Bethel College,
receiving his bachelor's. On Oct. 27, 1953, in Meade, he married the
love of his life, Hulda.
He was a medical lab technician, then
later worked in an industrial research lab for Vulcan Materials. He
built a house for his family, put all four children through college
(totaling four bachelors and two masters degrees.
He pursued his hobbies in ham radio
(WØCIZ) and had his pilot's license, owning two planes. He loved
camping with his family. He and Hulda travelled to Japan, Europe and
took cruises to Alaska, Norway and the Caribbean.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years,
Hulda; son, Alan; daughters, Lucinda Beach, Karen Claypool and Deana
Voth; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other
family and friends.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday (July
28, 2017) at Bethel College Mennonite Church, 2600 College Avenue,
North Newton. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is in charge.
