Obituary
Darwin Lee Fellers, 68, died on Sept.
24, 2011, in Halstead.
Darwin was born on May 9, 1943, to
Walter and Lois (Earnshaw) Fellers in Lebo. They preceded him in
death.
Darwin was a teacher and taught in many
schools throughout his career. He taught eight years in Linden. He
also worked for Wolf Creek Generating Station as a warehouse
supervisor. He was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his two nephews, Doug
and Shirley Fellers of Minden, Neb., and Adam and Cathy Fellers of
Centerville, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his
parents.
A visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. The family will be
present from 2 to 3 p.m. to greet friends. A committal service will
be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Key West Cemetery in Lebo.
A memorial has been set up for the
American Cancer Society, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
