Hadley Stuart Davidson, 24, beloved son and brother, died on Thursday (Oct. 6, 2011) in the arms of his family and devoted caregiver, Mary Wray.

One of triplets, Hadley was born on June 22, 1987, in Wichita to Dr. Terry and Ann Davidson.

Though profound physical disabilities challenged Hadley, his engaging personality and incredible spirit touched the hearts of all he met. What a comfort to know Hadley is finally whole after meeting his Heavenly Father.

His parents and brothers, Myles and Sam, survive. He also leaves behind loving grandparents, Alice Barsamian and Harry Barsamian, both of Wichita, and Granville and Ruth Davidson of Topeka. Hadley also has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Kansas, California and Ohio. In addition to his biological family, Hadley is cherished by the family of Mary Wray, who embraced him as one of their own. All will miss his terribly.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Petersen's Funeral Home in Newton. Family will be in attendance from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A private burial will be on Saturday morning at Greenwood Cemetery. A community celebration service for Hadley will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Newton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for Hadley may be offered to Trinity Heights United Methodist Church. Donations will be used to build a playground that can be enjoyed by children of all abilities.
