Obituary
Darlene "Sue" Smith of rural Whitewater died on
Saturday (Nov. 5, 2011).
She was born on Sept. 4, 1952, in Newton to Charles and
Marie Antonio.
She worked many hard years in various factories to provide
for her two sons, Lloyd and Rodney. She was an avid dog lover and always owned
at least one dog.
She enjoyed going to Sturges, S.D., each year for the bike
rally. Her greatest loves, however, were her two granddaughters, Stephanie and
Ashley, of whom she was very proud.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Tom Snaza; her
sons, Lloyd Smith and Rodney Bain; daughter-in-law, Crystal Bain; and
granddaughters, Stephanie and Ashley.
