Twila Unruh
Obituary
Twila Mae (Holdeman) Unruh, 94, passed
away Monday (Aug. 7, 2017) at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. She was
born Feb. 26, 1923, to Frank and Fanny Overholt Holdeman on the
family farm, rural Hesston.
Survivors include four sons and four
daughters: Verla Unruh, Moundridge, Lowell J. (Cindy) Unruh, Hesston,
Ardith (Robert) Schmidt, Alligator, Mississippi, Joe (Martha) Unruh,
Halstead, Doug (Nancy) Unruh, Halstead, Doris (Dwight) Koehn, Butler,
Missouri, Ward (Margaret) Unruh, Halstead and Elsie (Roger) Penner,
Bridgewater, Maine; 30 grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Vernard Unruh in 1981; and one grandson, Timothy.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30
a.m. Thursday (Aug. 10, 2017) at the GardenView Mennonite Church,
11626 NW 36th St., Halstead. Viewing will be 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday
(Aug. 9, 2017) at Moundridge Funeral Home. Viewing with family
present will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the church.

memorials to HSI-Humanitarian Service International, designated to be
given to children for harelip repair surgery, in care of Moundridge
Funeral Home.
