Beulah May Pointer Sherwood
Beulah May Pointer Sherwood, 81, of
Newton, homemaker, died Tuesday (April 25, 2000) at Newton Medical
Center.
She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Arkansas
City to Jasper N. and Odessa (Clemens) Pointer. She married Edward
Sherwood Dec. 26, 1990, in Silverdale. He survives of Newton.
She enjoyed reading.
Other survivors include a son, Stephen
G. Smith of Silver Spring, Md. She was preceded in death by her
parents; one brother, Carl C. Pointer; and two sisters, Ila Haskins
and Ernestine Maletz.
Funeral services will be 2 p. m.
Thursday at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel in Arkansas City. Burial
will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Arkansas City.
Friends may call from 9 a. m. to 2 p.
m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
Central Homecare and Hospice in Newton, in care of the funeral home.
