Arnold E Keller
HALSTEAD - Arnold E. Keller, 84,
retired supervisor at Cessna Aircraft and farmer, died Saturday
(Sept. 16, 2006) at Newton Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 21, 1922, to Edward
August and Anna Jewell (Freeman) Keller in Halstead. They preceded
him in death. He married Rose E. Lindley on Jan. 12, 1945, in
Wichita. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2006.
He was a member of First United
Methodist Church in Halstead. He was a member of the Halstead Masonic
Lodge, 32nd degree mason and a member of the Ruth-Wilson American
Legion Post No. 231, all of Halstead. He also was a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 5 of Newton and the Harvey
County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include: daughters, Twila
Clayton and husband Les of Kingman and Cheryl Polson and husband Doug
of Shawnee; a sister, Eulalia Young of Halstead; a grandson, Brandon
Hill of Kingman; and a granddaughter, Tami Harney of Westminster,
Colo.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m.
today with family greeting friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Kaufman
Funeral Home in Halstead.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday
at Kaufman Funeral Home with Chaplain Reta Joy Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in
Foster, Mo.

Research at Kansas State University and Kingman County Humane
