Rose E. Keller
HALSTEAD - Rose E. Keller, 79, ward
clerk at Halstead Hospital, died Wednesday (June 7, 2006) at her
residence in rural Halstead. She was born Nov. 11, 1926, to David L.
and Anna M. (Kraus) Lindley in Foster, Mo. They preceded her in
death. She married Arnold E. Keller Jan 12, 1945, in Wichita. He
survives. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of
Halstead and United Methodist Women. She was a member of E.H.U. of
Halstead and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. Five of Newton.
Other survivors include: daughters,
Twila Clayton and husband Les of Kingman and Cheryl Polson and
husband Doug of Shawnee; a grandson, Brandon Hill of Kingman; a
granddaughter, Tami Harney of Westminster, Colo.; a brother, Lester
Lindley of Chico, Calif.; and sister, Betty Cornelius of Lee's
Summit, Mo.
She also was preceded in death by: a
brother, David Max Lindley; and a sister, Margaret Truesdale.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m.
today with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Kaufman
Funeral Home in Halstead.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday
at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with Chaplain Reta Joy Campbell
officiating.
Burial will be 4 p.m. Friday at Salem
Cemetery in Foster, Mo.
Memorials have been established with
Odyssey Healthcare, Kingman County Humane Society and the Terry C.
Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University,
